Immigration Psychological Evaluations
Navigating the immigration process can be overwhelming, especially when it involves sharing deeply personal or traumatic experiences. Immigration psychological evaluations are designed to document the emotional and psychological impact of these experiences in a professional, clear, and compassionate way.
I provide trauma-informed immigration psychological evaluations for individuals and attorneys seeking thorough, well-documented clinical reports to support immigration cases.
Our Approach
At Larson North Point Counseling, we recognize that no two immigration cases are alike.
Some individuals need a straightforward forensic evaluation and report. Others have extensive trauma histories, complex family circumstances, significant supporting documentation, or barriers to accessing ongoing mental health support.
Rather than providing a one-size-fits-all approach, we offer multiple evaluation pathways designed to match the complexity of each case while maintaining objective, forensic-quality standards.
All evaluations remain independent, clinically grounded, and focused on accurately documenting psychological functioning, trauma-related experiences, and clinically relevant findings.
Our goal is to provide high-quality evaluations while helping bridge gaps in care through education, resources, and support options when appropriate.
Types of Cases Supported
Evaluations may be completed for a variety of immigration matters, including:
• Asylum
• VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)
• U-Visa and T-Visa cases
• Extreme Hardship Waivers (I-601 / I-601A)
• Cancellation of Removal
If you are unsure whether your case qualifies for an evaluation, you are welcome to reach out to discuss your situation.
How Evaluations Can Help
A psychological evaluation can support your case by:
• documenting the emotional impact of experiences
• providing objective clinical insight
• supporting claims of hardship, fear, or persecution
• strengthening overall case documentation

Looking Ahead
At Larson North Point Counseling, we recognize that many individuals seeking immigration evaluations have experienced significant trauma, displacement, family separation, and barriers to accessing ongoing mental health support.
While our evaluations remain objective, independent, and forensic in nature, we believe the evaluation process can also serve as an important gateway to education, resources, and healing.
Beginning January 2027, Larson North Point Counseling plans to expand services through a collaborative clinician model designed to improve access to ongoing trauma-informed care. Individuals who complete evaluations may have access to future coordinated referral pathways and support services as they become available.
Our long-term vision is to help bridge gaps in care while maintaining the highest standards of ethical and objective evaluation practice.
Transparency & Ethical Standards
Our evaluations are forensic in nature and are conducted independently of any legal strategy.
Payment covers the clinician's time, expertise, assessment process, and written report. Evaluation fees do not guarantee a specific diagnosis, recommendation, or favorable outcome in any immigration proceeding.
All clinical findings are based solely on information obtained through interviews, assessment measures, supporting documentation, and professional judgment.
While we strive to support individuals throughout the evaluation process, our role as an evaluator remains objective and independent.
